A pressure relief valve is a safety component that prevents overpressure in cement silos during loading. Excessive air pressure may cause serious damage — the relief valve automatically opens to release pressure and closes when levels normalize.
WorkIng PrIncIple
During pneumatic loading, compressed air fills the silo along with the cement. The valve is set to a specific pressure limit. When this limit is exceeded, the valve releases air to stabilize internal pressure.
